In a museum full of art, I'll search for your kind...

I've been thinking of a creative way to greet you and God led me here in a blank page of a blog post to write you a personal blog, dedicated to you alone. I know you don't like reading that much because we have different interests in things yet how amazing that we still found our way to each other. Since I’m not physically by your side to greet you, hug you or give you a present, I’m gonna write you a blog.

You know, my love language has always been writing and I want to make you feel loved, special, and valued through my writing, now that you're celebrating your special day.

Happy birthday, my Ate Ice! I hope you like what I got you, but I'm sure you would. You are one of the appreciative people I know. You like appreciating things, especially art. You are born with a talent and with a love for art because you are an "art" yourself. In a museum full of art, I'll search for your kind.

Distinctive.

Appealing.

Creative.

Pure.

Distinctive.  You may have a short height, but you stand out in the crowd. You are a set-apart woman as God created you for a unique purpose. You are a remarkable woman and you leave an impression to everyone you meet. I am entirely grateful to meet a unique person like you, humble in your own kind of way.

Appealing. Totally my first impression at you and it lasted. Until today, you are appealing not only by your beauty, but mostly in your personality and talent. I still remember the first time we met, though I don't want to go in full details about that, it's already enough how we both know how we met (HAHA!). The day we met is one of my testimonies in the Bible verse Romans 8:28 "All things work together for good." It's amazing how God turned a situation for my good and that is meeting you and befriending your kind.

Creative. Let me brag in this blog that I have a friend, who is a YouTube vlogger with a 159K subscribers, a content creator, an artist, a singer, a dancer and a host. It's a pleasure to support you since day one when your subscribers have not yet reached that amount. It's a pleasure to be part of your humble beginnings. Because, from there, I already saw your creativity. Before you even get to where you are now, I already know you'll get it big someday. I want to continue to always be part of your journey.

Pure. The most genuine and honest person I've met. I love how sincere you are in everything you do. You have a pure heart that I admire. You look after people you care about. You have a huge care for your family and friends. You pour out your all in everything you do and not everyone may see it or appreciate it, but I do. You have a heart as pure as gold and God sees it too.

In a museum full of art, you are the kind that stands out among the rest. In a museum full of art, I'll pick you.

This third of March, we celebrate your life. Your birth, existence, and presence in this world has made it a better place. Thank you for being part of my life, Ate Ice. You are one of the people who made my life bearable. You are a God-sent friend to me. I am blessed to meet you, to form a friendship with you, and to create memories with you.

You are the reason why salted caramel became my favorite flavor in milktea, back when you treat me in Coco. You are the reason how I got to know how to eat the large burger at Zark's. You are the reason why I never feel judged for my choices. You are the reason why I believe there are still humble and pure kind of people out there because you are one of them. You are the reason why I still want to be back at Cavite or in Manila because you are there.

With all the hardships you went though in life, I am so proud of how you handled it all. You remained strong and resilient. Although, you are an independent woman and I admire you for that, I want to be the one to remind you that you are never alone because God is always with you. In the past, today, and even in the future. He will sustain you, provide for you, and be with you. People may come and go in your life, but God always stays.

I thank God for your life, Ate Ice. I thank Him for crossing our paths together. I thank Him during the times that He comforted you in your silent battles that I don’t even know about. I thank Him for His goodness, mercy, love and grace in your life. I thank Him for giving me a friend like you.

Your life is a blessing and you deserve to be celebrated. Happy birthday, my one and only, Ate Ice ~ I miss you so much! Seeing our pictures together make me want to go back to that day, but it’s even better to do it again with you! I’ll be seeing you SOON. For the meantime, a virtual greeting and a virtual hug for now (⊃。•́‿•̀。)⊃

I’m happy you got a wonderful celebration, surrounded by people you love. You deserve so much happiness. May all your dreams and goals come to life. I’m excited to see it and to celebrate with you through it all. Even in hardships and battles of life, I’ll be with you through it all. I’ll be here through ups and downs and even through the middle. I’ll meet you where you are.

Since you’re already 25 years of age, I’ll give you a birthday wish from the verses 24, 25, and 26 of the book of Numbers, chapter 6 of the Bible.

May the Lord bless you and keep you. May the Lord smile down on you and show you His kindness. May the Lord answer your prayers and give you peace. - Numbers 6:24-26

I love you, Ate Ice!

Yours truly,

Clar ♡
